NZIEM Festival
NZIEM Festival returns for its third edition on June 21 - 22, 2025, at Sharing Art in Pompeii (Naples, Italy), reaffirming its place as one of the most original and vibrant cultural events in the Vesuvius area.
More than just a music festival, NZIEM is a space of collective memory, discovery, and the celebration of emerging local talent.
This year’s narrative and visual theme is the memory - that subtle, fleeting moment when what we are living becomes something to keep with you forever.
That’s the essence of NZIEM: a place where the first beautiful memories of summer are made, where music is not just something to listen to but a collective ritual.
The 2025 edition offers a dynamic mix of emerging voices and established acts, blending the best of the new Neapolitan scene with nationally recognized artists who continue to resonate with younger generations. NZIEM is not just a festival - it’s a statement of intent: to give a platform to those who rarely have one.
By focusing on independent music and giving space to artists aged 16-35 -regardless of genre or background- NZIEM is building a cultural network rooted in creativity, authenticity, and community.
Firmly rooted in the suburbs, NZIEM is designed for those who still believe that art can create community. Set in the green countryside of Pompeii and hosted by a cultural center devoted to environmental and social sustainability, the festival is also a project of urban regeneration and social inclusion. Beyond music, the event includes talks, DJ sets, art installations, and moments of exchange with grassroots cultural organizations.

2025 Highlights: 16 Artists, 2 Days, 1 Vision
The 2025 edition raises the bar with 16 live projects across two days, showcasing Italy’s vibrant independent scene - especially artists from Naples, Salerno, and the surrounding Vesuvian provinces.
Saturday, June 21 opens with a melting pot of styles:
Zack brings his raw “punk e ragg” energy - Neapolitan slang for “punk and rage” while Masamasa lights up the stage with his infectious Italo-disco vibes. Following, the soulful songwriting of Lucrezia, finalist at Musicultura 2019 and a standout on X Factor, along with Nico Arezzo, acclaimed artist and Sanremo Giovani 2019 finalist, and recent winner of Musicultura 2024. Closing out the night, the indie tones of Parrelle, the smooth RnB from SVM, the gritty urban poetry by Frisari and a high-energy DJ set from Colella, to carry us into day two.
Sunday, June 22 dives into a more eclectic pop landscape, headlined by:
M.E.R.L.O.T., fresh off his gold-certified record and appearance at Sanremo Giovani 2024, followed by performances from Martina Di Nardo, Ugo Crepa, Primo Amore, and Crisi, an independent voice known from Netflix’s Nuova Scena. Closing the festival are three of the most radical and experimental projects on the scene: the genre-bending sound of Rxxmer, the sonic chaos of the FuckPop supergroup and nd the avant-garde collective Scuderia, represented by eUwUarraciell.
NZIEM stands for listening deeply, breaking down barriers - of genre, of access, of visibility. It offers real opportunities to those who might otherwise remain unseen. It’s a manifesto for a free, young, and inclusive culture, rooted in local identity and future-forward vision.
A seed of creativity, a place of memory, ready to bloom.
